protects your information when you use our mobile application. We built Vert AI to help
athletes train their vertical jump, and we are committed to keeping your data private and secure.
The short version: Most of your data — your onboarding answers, training plan,
and progress logs — is stored locally on your device. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Information you provide: onboarding quiz answers such as your height, weight,
current vertical, standing reach, training experience, available equipment, and goals.
Photos and videos: when you use the AI Jump Score feature, you choose a photo
or video of yourself mid-jump from your device. This media is used only to generate your jump
score and feedback, and is not shared with third parties for advertising.
Progress data: the jump measurements, workouts, and milestones you log.
Purchase information: subscription status processed through Apple and our
payment provider (RevenueCat). We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Usage and device data: basic technical information used to keep the app
running reliably and to diagnose crashes.
2. How We Use Your Information
To build and personalize your vertical jump training plan.
To generate AI jump scores and form feedback from the media you submit.
To track your progress, streaks, and personal bests over time.
To manage your subscription and provide premium features.
To maintain, improve, and secure the app.
3. Storage of Your Data
Your onboarding answers, personalized plan, and progress logs are stored locally on your device.
Media you submit for AI scoring may be processed by our AI service providers solely to return your
result. We retain only what is necessary to provide the features described above.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
Service providers who process data on our behalf (for example, AI scoring,
subscription management, and crash diagnostics), under agreements that limit their use of your data.
Apple, for processing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Legal authorities, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. Subscriptions
Vert AI offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("Vert AI Pro") that unlocks premium
features. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account, and subscriptions renew automatically unless
canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your
subscription in your device's account settings.
6. Your Rights & Choices
You can access and delete your locally stored data by clearing it in the app or uninstalling it.
You can control photo and media access through your device's privacy settings.
You can request deletion of any data we hold by contacting us at the email below.
7. Children's Privacy
Vert AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal
information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no
method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date
at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
